Georgios Vlassopoulos , born in Athens,PhD in Law, graduated from the National Kapodestrian Univesity of Athens (Law School). The title of his PhD dissertation on Labour Law was:
‘’The unilateral harmful modification of the permanent employment contract provisions and its amendment termination ‘’.
Ηe speaks German,English and French fluently.
He is a member of the Employment and Labour Relations Research Hub at SARL ( Social Administration Research Lab , sarl.uniwa.gr). Besides, he has undertaken research and teaching in various Universities and the National School of Public Administration in areas relating mainly to employment, labour relations and social policy .
He currently practices law in the Athens Bar.
His research intrerests focus on the legal analysis of employment and labour relations agendas. He is author of two books and has published in scientific journals. He has participated in high-level conferences and seminars in Greece and abroad. At last, he is experienced in ILO proceedings and has taken part as an expert in the European Employment Committee.
