Education: She holds a BS degree in Economics from the School of Law and Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; an MS degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, USA; and a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Business Administration of the School of Business Administration Sciences of the University of the Aegean, titled “Employee Absenteeism: The Case of the Private Sector in Greece”.
Experience: Intern in the Comprehensive Employment and Training Administration (CETA), NJ, USA. Human Resource Specialist and Manager in Greek and Multinational companies and Management Consulting firms.
Associate Professor at The American College of Greece, Deree College, since 1990. Teaching Human Resource Management, Talent Acquisition, Managing Performance and Rewards, Labour Relations, International Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Management, and Entrepreneurship courses. Has taught at the University of Maryland-European Division.
Mediator/Conciliator at the Organization of Mediation and Arbitration of Greece (O.ME.D.) since 1998. Has served as an Arbitrator.
Publications: Two ILO publications and several articles in academic journals and business periodicals.
